A restaurant known for its iconic showcasing of UAE Bedouin culture and authentic Emirati cuisine has opened its first European branch.  Located in London, Al-Fanar restaurant and cafe is aiming to “revive the memories of Dubai when it was a small town on the shore of the Arabian Gulf”. With five branches in UAE and one in the capital of Saudi Arabia, they’ve opened in the plush suburb of Kensington’s Gloucester Road.  With sufficient seating in beautifully decorated surroundings that capture the intricate architectural features of the region, Al-Fanar offers an extensive menu of exciting dishes.  Despite opening at noon, there’s breakfast items which revolves around what you’ll find in the UAE with breads like kaqaq, Khameer, and Chehab, served with cheese, date syrup or eggs. The latest branch of Al Fanar Restaurant and Café has just been launched at Town Center in Jumeirah. The hugely popular Emirati restaurant first began operation at Dubai Festival City Mall followed by its second outlet in Ritz Carlton Abu Dhabi.
